IT and industries minister K.T. Rama Rao left for the US on Tuesday for a two-week visit to meet the enterprise leaders and organizations in a bid to drum up investments for Telangana. He is predicted to go back through May 30.

He IT and Industries Minister had a fruitful meeting with CEOs of 30 unique organizations at Washington. Many of these companies have evinced interest in putting in place their workplaces in Nizamabad, Siddipet and Nalgonda.

Accordingly, over 2,500 IT jobs would be generated, besides developing indirect employment to another 10,000 human beings in the tier II towns. Interestingly, many non-Telugu and non-Telangana entrepreneurs expressed their willingness in establishing workplaces in tier-2 towns.

This changed into after the Minister apprised the CEOs about Telangana authorities’ initiatives in setting up IT Towers in Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam and Mahabubnagar.
